Rule 6 - General

Rule 6.2

Financial Governance

Rule 6.2.1

Funds from the contributions of the Association’s own members, the government and the public shall only be applied towards the attainment of the Aim of the Association.

Rule 6.2.2

No portion of income and property of the Association shall be paid, transferred or distributed directly or indirectly by way of share, dividend, bonus, or otherwise howsoever, to members of the Association.

Rule 6.2.3

All members of the Council and the Executive Committee of the Association shall not receive remuneration or other benefit in money or money’s worth.

Rule 6.2.4

(a) All members of the Council and the Executive Committee of the Association shall acknowledge and observe the Conflict of Interest Policy of the Association.
(b) If a member of the Council and the Executive Committee has, directly or indirectly, a material interest in a transaction, arrangement or contract or proposed transaction, arrangement or contract with the Association, he shall declare the nature and extent of his interest to the Council and the Executive Committee.
(c) A member of the Council and the Executive Committee having material interest in a transaction, arrangement or contract or proposed transaction, arrangement or contract with the Association shall not vote for the subject business.
