Uniform No.1(Tunic)
- This may be worn by invested Adult Members when attending ceremonial and formal occasions (e.g. parades, annual general meetings, inaugurations, and funerals), international scouting events and community events.
- The Basic Badges worn include: World Membership Badge, Hong Kong Emblem, Hong Kong Shoulder Badge/Group Badge and Adult Shoulder Badges.
- Additionally, Adult Members may wear Activity Name Plate, Cloth Name Tag, Mourning Band, Wood Badge and other conferred Decorations and Awards, and shaweddingsll use compliant Clothing Items.
- Other than the Insignia, Badges, Decorations and Awards specified in Points 2 and 3, other insignia and badges shall not be worn.
- Adult Members may choose to wear BP Scout Hat.

Uniform No.2(Mess Kit)
- This is worn by invested Adult Members when attending Scout Leaders' Mess Nights, Scout mess nights/balls, and mess dinners or formal evening functions held by other organisations, uniformed organisations or disciplined services.
- There are two sets of Mess Kit, one for summer and one for winter. The summer Mess Kit includes a white waist jacket and the winter Mess Kit includes a black waist jacket. Scout units should specify the attire of “Uniform No. 2 Mess Kit (black or white waist jacket)” when organising Scout mess nights/balls.
- Adult Members wear black peak caps (male members) or black hats (female members), silver-coloured Cap/Hat Badges and Metallic Shoulder Insignia.
- Additionally, Adult Members may wear Awards for Exemplary Service, Miniature Medals for Decorations and Awards, Miniature Lanyard of the Chief Commissioner’s Commendation and the Chief Commissioner’s High Commendation, the Chief Commissioner’s Thanks Badge and other approved Decorations and Awards and shall use compliant Optional Items.
- Apart from the Insignia, Badges, Decorations and Awards listed in Points 3 and 4, other Insignia and Badges (including the Wood Badge and the Scout of the Year Award) shall not be worn.
