Donations to victims of earthquake in Nepal

(An appeal to all Scout members for donating HK$50 or more)

An earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale has struck Nepal on 25 April. The earthquake has caused over 5,000 deaths and 10,000 people injured. There are widespread destruction
in capital Kathmandu and surrounding areas, houses and buildings have toppled over and avalanches have been triggered in the Himalayas. Water and power supply are running out in affected areas,
and communication is disrupted.
With continuous aftershocks, more and more will be left homeless and unsheltered with desperate needs.

To live up the spirit of "Helping Others", I sincerely appeal to all Scout members each to donate HK$50 or more to the designated bank account of Scout Association of Hong Kong.
All donations collected will be forwarded to World Scout Bureau, Asia-Pacific Regional Office for the coordination of relief and rehabilitation work in the affected areas.
