World Scout Brotherhood Donations to flooding disaster victims in Taiwan Typhoon Morakot which hit Taiwan on 8 August brought the highest record of rainfall in the past 50 years. The flooding disaster has brought tremendous loss of lives and severe economic damage to Taiwan. To live up the spirit of 'World Scout Brotherhood', each Scout member is sincerely urged to donate HK$50 or more to the designated bank account of the Scout Association of Hong Kong.

Sichuan Relief Fund The earthquake disaster in Sichuan has caused extensive damage. It is estimated that it will take 8 years to rebuild the affected regions. The 'Sichuan Relief Fund' ('SRF') is established by the Scout Association of Hong Kong to support the rehabilitation work and related service plan in affected regions. Each Scout member is sincerely urged to donate HK$50 or more to the 'SRF' in order to build a better future for the victims.

The Scout Gallery 'Old Scout Groups' Exhibition II The Scout Gallery 'Old Scout Groups' Exhibition II is open to public now. Please seize the chance to take a look of the valuable exhibits of the old Scout Groups with a history of over 50 years. They are 1st Hong Kong Group, 2nd Hong Kong Group, 10th Hong Kong Group and 21st Kowloon Group.
WORKING HOLIDAY SCHEMES The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) has signed a bilateral Working Holiday Scheme agreement separately with the Governments of New Zealand, Australia and Ireland .Local young people participating in the Scheme may go to the above countries for holiday and as part of their stay, take up short-term employment so as to have a better understanding of the cultural and social developments of the host countries.
