Rule 3 The Scout District
Rule 3.11 Accidents and Insurance
Rule 3.11.1 2.12 as applied to Scout Groups applies in the same way to Scout Districts, with the District Commissioner being responsible for maintaining adequate insurance cover in respect of risks not covered by insurance effected by the Association Headquarters.
Rule 3.11.2 If action is to be taken in relation to effecting insurance or reporting claims, injuries or fatalities, this shall be taken under the supervision of the District Commissioner by the Commissioner or Leader or other adult responsible for the individual's or party's participation in the event or activity. The District Commissioner shall consult the Regional Commissioner or the Association Headquarters for direction.
